Review - French A la fin du XVsiecle, l'Office de Saint-Georges, auquel la commune de Genes a confie l'administration de la Corse, triomphe definitivement de l'opposition seigneuriale locale. Les Protecteurs developpent alors une propagande politique qui oppose le bon gouvernement genois aux exactions des tyrans . Cependant, en depit de ce discours officiel, exaltant l'image d'une Corse liberee et pacifiee , nombreux sont les signes qui trahissent les symptomes d'une crise profonde de la societe insulaire, qui finit par emporter l'Office au milieu du XVIsiecle. Toutefois, en creant des fondations etatiques solides, dans le domaine fiscal et judiciaire, l'administration de Saint-Georges a prepare l'avenement de la Corse genoise .
