The book focuses on the excavations from 2004-2008 at the monastery of the cathedral and an area of the Busdorf monastery. For the first time, the remains of the two churches’ respective curias could be identified and examined. Furthermore studies of individual properties show, how typical forms of merchant’s houses changed uniformly during the late 12th and 13th century.
