La pensee de Hans Jonas developpe d’une maniere a la fois theorique et pratique une ethique de la responsabilite appropriee a l’agir technologique et aux menaces que celui-ci fait peser sur la nature humaine. Cette articulation audacieuse entre nature et responsabilite ne va cependant pas sans soulever des critiques de la part des philosophes soucieux de preserver l’heritage des Lumieres et conscients des dangers associes a une remise en question fondationaliste des valeurs democratiques.
