Der erste Supplementband des Corpus Signorum Imperii Romani Carnuntum behandelt die Gotter-, Kult- und Weihedenkmaler aus dem Siedlungsgebiet der romischen Provinzhauptstadt Oberpannoniens. Insgesamt 772 Steindenkmaler aus verschiedenen privaten und offentlichen Sammlungen werden vorgelegt und dem aktuellen Forschungsstand entsprechend dokumentiert.Ein ausfuhrlicher Auswertungsteil stellt diesen Denkmalerbestand vor den forschungsgeschichtlichen, historischen und kunsthistorischen Hintergrund. Die Kartierung und detaillierte Interpretation und Beschreibung der Fundorte lasst erstmals eine “sakrale Topographie” Carnuntums entstehen.
