Fenelon et Port-Royal
edited by Patricia Touboul, Laurence Devillairs and Alberto Frigo
Fenelon’s battle against Jansenism resulted in a profusion of writings. Many aspects of this polemic, which enabled the Archbishop of Cambrai to set out his theology, his ecclesiology and his philosophy, remain to be elucidated. But would Fenelon also be an enemy to Port-Royal, as he was to the Jansenists?
