English summary: Karl R. Popper (1902-1994) is one of the most important philosophers of the 20th century. His ‘critical rationalism’ strongly influenced the theory of knowledge and social philosophy. In this volume, Herbert Keuth presents an introduction to Karl Popper’s philosophy which is not only detailed but also readily comprehensible for laymen.
