The catalog records 5,981 bronze coins from the Samsun Museum that were minted under the Pontic ruler Mithradates VI (120-63 BC). They were compiled on the basis of measurements and photographs taken in 1994, the negatives of which are kept at the Historical Institute of the University of Stuttgart.
