Antike Glaeser
Monumenta Antiquitatis extra fines Hungariae reperta quae in Museo Artium hungarico aliisque museis et collectionibus hungaricis conservantur. Vol. 5
by Laszlo Barkoczi
English summary: In this catalogue the author presents a collection of almost 400 ancient glass objects in the Szepmuveszeti Muzeum, Budapest. The objects come from prestigious private collections, such as that of Marcell Nemes, which, with 170 pieces, accounts for almost half the catalogue. The author has attempted to identify the glass of unknown provenance, and suggests that many of the pieces were originally from Pannonia.
