English summary: This volume deals with the study of the archaic phase of Pompeii (6th-5th century BC) with particular attention to the topic of the urban configuration of the city. The aspects taken into consideration range from the history of the discovery of pre-Roman Pompeii, to the description of the elements characterizing the urban landscape, to the cults practiced inside and outside the walls. The work–based both on published material and unpublished archival data–included the creation of an archaeological phase map, prepared through the planimetric repositioning of the evidence pertaining to the chronological horizon in question. The aim was to create a tool of fundamental importance for the continuation of research on the pre-Roman phases of Pompeii.
