Der Schwerpunkt dieses Bandes ist in Teil A. dem Thema »Recht und Ethik des Kopierens – Law and Ethics of Copying« gewidmet. Diese Beiträge wurden im Rahmen einer in den Jahren 2015/16 von Reinold Schmücker (Münster) geleiteten Forschungsgruppe am ZiF der Universität Bielefeld erarbeitet. – In Teil B. werden weitere Fragen erörtert, die das Spannungsverhältnis zwischen Recht und Ethik beleuchten, und zwar zum ius puniendi, zum Flüchtlingsschutz, zu Kants Factumbegriff, zum Whistleblowing, zur Pränataldiagnostik und zum moralischen Status genetisch veränderter Pflanzen.

Der Schwerpunkt dieses Bandes ist dem Thema Recht und Ethik des Kopierens Law and Ethics of Copying gewidmet. Initiator des Projekts ist Reinold Schmucker, Professor fur Philosophie an der Universitat Munster. Die Beitrage in Teil A. des Jahrbuchs wurden im Rahmen einer von ihm in den Jahren 2015/16 geleiteten Forschungsgruppe am Zentrum fur interdisziplinare Forschung (ZiF) der Universitat Bielefeld erarbeitet. In Teil B. werden Fragen aus weiteren Themenbereichen erortert, die das Spannungsverhaltnis zwischen Recht und Ethik beleuchten, und zwar im Hinblick auf das ius puniendi im Volkerstrafrecht, die Problematik des Fluchtlingsschutzes, den Factumbegriff in Kants praktischer Philosophie, das Recht des Whistleblowing, die ethischen Schwierigkeiten neuer Verfahren der Pranataldiagnostik und schliealich den moralischen Status genetisch veranderter Pflanzen.
