Each of the almost a hundred short essays deals with a different aspect of Schopenhauer’s work and can be read independently.

Robert Zimmer ist promovierter Philosoph und lebt als freier Sachbuchautor in Stuttgart. Er ist Autor zahlreicher Bücher zur Philosophiegeschichte, philosophischen Biografik und Moralistik, die in mehr als ein Dutzend Sprachen übersetzt wurden. Auch im Schopenhauer-Lexikon (utb Verlag 2021) ist er vertreten.

Ansgar Lorenz arbeitet als freiberuflicher Illustrator in Mannheim. Für den Wilhelm Fink Verlag illustriert er die Reihe „Philosophische Einstiege“.
