Technik und Kunstliche Intelligenz unterstutzen menschliches Handeln, indem sie es in vielem erganzen, zum Teil uberbieten, gegebenenfalls ersetzen. Ausserlich sind ihre Leistungen von menschlichen Produkten oft nicht unterscheidbar. Doch menschliches Denken und Verhalten unterscheidet sich grundsatzlich von mechanischen Operationen. Worin bleibt KI gegenuber originar menschlichen Vollzugen defizitar? Worin unterscheidet sich etwa der Text eines Ubersetzungscomputers von dem eines Autors? Emil Angehrn zeigt in diesem Band, warum der Mensch in seinen Erlebnissen und Handlungen letztlich durch keine technische Apparatur und Leistung ersetzbar ist.
