English summary: The present volume is the third part of an edition together with a German translation and commentary of Hebrew and Aramaic magic texts from the Cairo Genizah. The detailed analysis attempts to elucidate the deep and complex interrelations between Greco-Roman magic from Late Antiquity, Arabic tradition and medieval Jewish magic. German description: Der vorliegende Band setzt die bislang umfangreichste Edition eines Textkorpus zur magischen Literatur des spatantiken/fruhmittelalterlichen Judentums aus dem geographischen Raum des Vorderen Orients fort. Im Zentrum des dritten Bandes steht eine Auswahl von Beschworungstexten, Liebes-, Schadens-, Schutz- und Heilungszaubern sowie die bisher erste umfassende Sammlung von fruhen Textzeugen fur den magischen Gebrauch von Psalmen (Shimmush Tehillim).Wie die fruheren Bande der Edition bietet auch dieser eine zuverlassige Transkription, eine deutsche Ubersetzung und einen Kommentar, in dem die philologischen Eigenheiten der Texte geklart werden, die haufig in einer Mischsprache aus Hebraisch und Aramaisch verfasst sind und arabische oder griechische Fremdworter enthalten. Zusatzlich werden traditionsgeschichtliche Zusammenhange nachgewiesen, die vielfach bis in die Magie der Spatantike zuruckreichen. Zahlreiche Parallelen zwischen den magischen Texten aus der Kairoer Geniza und griechischen, lateinischen sowie arabischen Werken veranschaulichen sowohl den interkulturellen Aspekt der judischen Magie als auch ihre spezifischen Eigenheiten. Dies zeigt sich besonders deutlich im breit bezeugten magischen Gebrauch von Psalmen durch die Geniza, fur den sich wiederum Parallelen in der byzantinischen, koptischen, athiopischen, syrischen und christlich-arabischen Magie finden. Von jedem Text ist ein Faksimile in der jeweils am besten lesbaren Photographiertechnik beigegeben.
