English summary: Knowledge has become one of the most important resources in many economic, technological and academic domains. To understand the impact and potential of this development towards a knowledge-based economy and technology in the respective fields, we have to take a closer look at the processes responsible for bringing about new knowledge. Consequently, this book supports the claim that learning is a process of cooperative knowledge creation and not simply a process of knowledge transfer. The focus of the collection of articles in this book is on how communication, cooperation, negotiation, knowledge creation, and innovation can be integrated into a comprehensive notion of learning.
