English summary: This volume contains documents of the GDR Ministry for State Security from the year 1977. The secret accounts for the SED provide an excellent insight into the internal situation of East Germany during that year. German description: Der Band enthalt die geheimen Berichte aus dem Jahr 1977, mit denen das Ministerium fur Staatssicherheit die SED-Fuhrung regelmassig uber die innere Situation der DDR informierte. Das Jahr 1977 war bestimmt vom repressiven kulturpolitischen Kurs der SED nach der Biermann-Ausburgerung. Zahlreiche Kunstler, unter ihnen der populare Schauspieler Manfred Krug, verliessen die DDR. Zugleich machten sich die innenpolitischen Folgen der Entspannungspolitik durch die hohe Zahl von Ausreiseantragstellern bemerkbar. Unzufriedenheit herrschte auch aufgrund der schlechten Versorgungslage, mit einem Hohepunkt im Sommer wahrend der aKaffee-Krise: Die Bevolkerung machte ihrem Unmut uber den Wegfall gunstiger Kaffeesorten und die Einfuhrung von minderwertigem Ersatzkaffee Luft. Die in dem Band versammelten Dokumente bieten einen hervorragenden Einblick in Herrschaft und Gesellschaft der DDR im Jahr 1977.
