English summary: This yearbook represents a broad basis of one of the main trends in present-day philosophy with its counterparts in other sectors of the humanities. Hermeneutics sees itself as a successor to German Idealism and to the philosophy which originated in Germany and Europe during the 19th and the 20th century. In a broad sense, hermeneutics can be seen here as a counterbalance to analytical philosophy. Particular emphasis is also placed on the reference to antiquity as the origin of European philosophy. To honor the publication of Hans-Georg Gadamer’s major work in 1960, this year’s volume is dedicated to the topic a Truth and Method after Fifty Years. German description: Dieses Jahrbuch reprasentiert eine Hauptstromung der gegenwartigen Philosophie mit ihren Entsprechungen in den Wissenschaften. Die philosophische Beschaftigung mit der Hermeneutik ist langst uber die Frage nach der Textauslegung und der Methode in den Geisteswissenschaften hinausgelangt. Die Geschichtlichkeit und Interpretationsgebundenheit des Denkens wird nicht mehr nur als das spezielle Problem eines bestimmten Zweigs der Wissenschaft gesehen, sondern erscheint als Kennzeichen des Denkens uberhaupt. Das Internationale Jahrbuch fur Hermeneutik tragt der Breite dieser moglichen Ansatze Rechnung: Es steht sowohl historisch als auch systematisch allen Forschungsrichtungen offen, die an den Fragehorizont der Hermeneutik, sei es kritisch oder affirmativ, anschliessen konnen. Somit reprasentiert es nicht nur diejenige Forschung, die sich auf hermeneutisches Denken im engeren Sinne bezieht, also etwa auf das Denken Nietzsches, Diltheys oder Heideggers. Vielmehr haben Beitrage zur Antike dort ebenso ihren Ort wie Beitrage zur Philosophie im Umkreis des Deutschen Idealismus. In Erinnerung an das Erscheinen von Hans-Georg Gadamers Hauptwerk im Jahr 1960 widmet der diesjahrige Band sich dem Thema a50 Jahre Wahrheit und Methode .
