English summary: There is not, in the Dialogues, a more complex question than that of the soul, since all other questions are also related to it; to ignore it, according to Plato, is to render a problem unsolvable. It is the internal link that prevents Psychology, ethics, politics or Platonic cosmology to become independent domains: all things are connected because everything converges towards the soul and everything fits in it. Life, thought, the World itself draw movement from a soul, but the human soul has its own power to move towards certain objects or turn away from them, to form part of what is corporal or turn away from it, and this is the basis of its multiple actions and passions.
