From the 1910s onwards, Sonia Delaunay (1885-1979) created an oeuvre of vibrant colours and powerful geometry. She was very well connected with the European avant-gardes – such as the Sturm, the Blaue Reiter and the Bauhaus. Now the first German-language, richly illustrated monograph on the grande dame of abstract art is available.
