English summary: Philosophers and sociologists occasionally use the recently coined term “technoscience,” which is commonly cited in militant and journalistic discourse, but not in internal discourse associated with scientific practices. French description: Le terme technoscience , abondant dans les discours militants et journalistiques, absent des discours internes aux pratiques scientifiques, parfois utilise par des philosophes ou des sociologues, est recent.Le substantif apparait au milieu des annees soixante-dix. Il est souvent charge d’affects et d’une axiologie implicite: il constitue souvent une arme de lutte (nommer les phenomenes techniques et/ou scientifiques de ce nom c’est deja, dans bien des contextes, les denoncer ), mais est-il aussi le lieu d’une elaboration conceptuelle precise et consistante pour accueillir ce qui nous arrive et qu’on designe ainsi? Et ce qui nous arrive sous ce nom est-ce, localement, une reconfiguration de la representation des rapports entre sciences et techniques, ou bien aussi, plus largement, une maniere nouvelle d’experimenter quelques enigmes fondamentales (comme celle de l’Invention, ou bien encore celle de la Puissance)? On veut manifester dans ce livre l’ambiguite fondamentale d’une figure aux facettes multiples – la technoscience -, qui traverse les registres de l’epistemologique, de l’economique et du politique, pour assumer des inflexions proprement metaphysiques et meme eschatologiques.
