Mario Di Giampaolo (1943–2022) was an Italian art historian, scholar and leading expert on Old Master drawings. An internationally respected connoisseur, he devoted his career to the study, attribution and promotion of Italian drawings, publishing numerous catalogues and monographs on Renaissance and Baroque artists.
