Der Band versammelt alle überlieferten Texte Hausmanns zur Photographie. Viele von Ihnen – wie etwa ein umfangreiches Manuskript zur Infrarotphotographie – werden hier erstmals ediert. Damit wird das theoretische Werk eines der bedeutendsten Photographen der Moderne umfassend erschlossen und vorgestellt.
