Comment la pensee des atmospheres elaboree par Bohme renouvellet-elle la comprehension philosophique de l’experience esthetique et des objets pouvant la susciter? Comprenant la traduction inedite d’un essai du philosophe allemand et sept contributions originales, ce numero se propose d’examiner la notion d’atmosphere a partir de ses usages possibles. A son epreuve, l’analyse d’oeuvres allant de l’architecture ou d’installations architecturales (Tadao Ando, Naitō : Hiroshi, Gregor Schneider) au cinema (Michelangelo Antonioni), en passant par la musique (Murray Schafer), la peinture (Yves Klein, Caspar David Friedrich) et la photographie (Chrystel Lebas), permet non seulement de cerner l’union entre la spatialite et l’affectivite en jeu dans leur experience, y compris la ou on ne l’attendait pas, mais aussi de montrer comment la philosophie de Bohme entre en dialogue avec d’autres courants de la pensee contemporaine, que ce soit l’histoire ecologique des sensibilites ou les humanites environnementales.
