L’ouvrage entend interroger l’elaboration, la portee et le sens de ce partage. Comment s’est-il construit et quelle en est la signification exacte pour Cavailles, Canguilhem et Foucault? Peut-on lui accorder une realite historique, c’est-a-dire peut-on distinguer dans la philosophie en France deux lignes, l’une attachee au concept, l’autre a la conscience? Enfin, ce partage conserve-t-il un sens, et qu’est-ce que se reclamer aujourd’hui du concept ou du sujet? Ce volume reunit treize contributions de specialistes francais et etrangers, visant a repondre a ces questions et, par la, a donner un panorama de l’histoire de la philosophie en France au XXe siecle.
