Landschaftsmalerei
edited by Werner Busch
English summary: Werner Busch brings together 52 texts on landscape painting from antiquity to the beginning of the 20th century – from Leonardo da Vinci, Nicolas Poussin and Caspar David Friedrich to Claude Monet and Paul Cezanne. Supplemented by well-founded commentaries by the editor, a theoretical history of this genre is written.
