This edition of La Semaine d’Argent by Abel d’Argent is the first to be published since 1632. The poet recounts the fall of Adam and Christ’s descent into hell to save him, before recounting the life of Christ according to the Gospel. The poem ends with a Last Judgement inspired by the Book of Revelation.
