Kloster Andechs in Oberbayern wurde 1455 als Benediktinerkloster gegrundet. 1755 wurde die spatgotische Hallenkirche durch Johann Baptist Zimmermann im Stil des Rokoko umgestaltet und zum 550-jahrigen Grundungsjubilaum 2005 grundlegend restauriert.
