Riccardo Marone is an Italian lawyer, former public official and photography collector. Together with his wife Rita, he has built one of Italy’s leading private collections of twentieth-century photography. Giovanni Canestrelli is an Italian writer and essayist with a longstanding interest in photography, social history and visual culture. He is the author of several books on history and contemporary culture.
