English summary: The cost estimation of software systems has been and remains, in the modern, globalized and agile world of program engineering, a current and continuously important theme in the area of software development and deployment. In order to determine the real cost for the development of a software system development, however, an exact-as-possible determination or even measurement of the realized, functional scope of the software is necessary. This handbook discusses this exact theme in its essential features and considers the best known processes for measuring scope and expense according to their evidence and efficiency in their practical application. The main section of this handbook provides an extensive and comprehensive description of the exact determination of the functional scope of software according to the so-called COSMIC Function Points Approach. This method is also known world-wide under the description of Next Generation of Functional Size Measurement and factors in modern paradigms and types of systems, such as the embedded systems, SOA, Cloud Computing and communications systems as well as modern development methods of evolutionary or agile software engineering. This current handbook offers an important basis for practice as well as for the technical education of apprentices and is also recommended for students in an interest in information systems, because it considers some of the critical issues with the scope of software, which is relevant for cost estimation as well as the analysis of complexity and risk management. The handbook also supports management in the field of IT for the selection, evaluation and suitable application of methods for measuring the scope of software and the related issues of expense, quality and efficiency. Um den wirklichen Aufwand fur eine Softwaresystementwicklung zu bestimmen ist jedoch erst einmal eine moglichst exakte Bestimmung oder gar Messung des zu realisierenden funktionalen Softwareumfangs notwendig. Genau dieser Thematik widmet sich das vorliegende Handbuch in grundlegender Weise. Es behandelt die bekanntesten Umfangsmess- und Aufwandschatzverfahren nach ihrer Evidenz und Effizienz in ihrer praktischen Anwendung. Den Hauptteil dieses Handbuches bildet eine erstmals umfassende und vollstandige Beschreibung der exakten Bestimmung des Softwarefunktionsumfangs nach dem so genannten COSMIC Function Points Ansatz.
