Un’impresa editoriale, consolidata e avviata verso nuovi successi; un imprenditore bibliofilo e ricco di iniziative; una famiglia ebraica di nome straniero; una storia da compiere che si infrange contro le leggi razziali del ’38. Tutto, da quel 13 settembre in cui giunge in Casa Editrice l’intimazione a denunciare tra collaboratori e autori quanti appartengono alla razza ebraica, sembra avviarsi verso una lenta, inesorabile distruzione, sotto la guida di una regia che non da risposta ai “perche”. Una storia che si svolge ai margini di una piu terribile tragedia di morti e deportazioni, ma che denuncia l’ottusita del potere nella burocrazia del male. Giovera ricordare.
