Breslau, Stettin, and Konigsberg were also affected by the Nazi confiscation campaign Degenerate Art in 1937. After the end of the Second World War, they were excluded from any possible legal clarification of the confiscation campaign and from museum regeneration strategies in Germany. The special circumstances give reason to shed light on the events of that time and to ask about their impact to this day.
