Dialogues sur l’eloquence
by Fenelon, preface by Cardinal de Bausset
The eclecticism of Fenelon’s didactic thinking comes to life in this compilation of texts. While he devotes part of his essays to eloquence, particularly religious eloquence, he is also interested in the education of children in the Traite de l’education des filles and the fables and dialogues composed for the duke of Burgundy.
