Corpus der Stempelsiegel-Amulette aus Palästina/Israel
Von den Anfängen bis zur Perserzeit
By (author) Othmar Keel
Like the earlier volumes, this fourth volume of the catalogue “Corpus der Stempelsiegel-Amulette aus Palastina/Israel” presents indispensable material not only for the archaeology of Palestine/Israel, the historiography of the southern Levant and Egyptology, but also for biblical scholarship. The material is documented through photographs, drawings, and detailed descriptions. In most cases, numerous parallels are provided, placing each individual object in its precise chronological and cultural context. German text.
English summary: Like the earlier volumes the fourth volume of the catalogue “Corpus der Stempelsiegel-Amulette aus Palastina/Israel” presents indispensable material not only for the archaeology of Palestine/Israel, the historiography of the southern Levant and Egyptology, but also for biblical scholarship. As in volume I, this material is documented through photographs, drawings and detailed descriptions. In most cases, numerous parallels are provided, placing each single object in its precise chronological and cultural context.
