Das geistige Fundament der bohmischen Kultur im 14. und 15. Jahrhundert Die Universitat Prag zahlte bald nach ihrer Grundung (1348) zu den bedeutendsten Bildungseinrichtungen Europas mit intensiven kulturellen und wissenschaftlichen Kontakten zu den alteren (Paris, Oxford; Bologna) und jungeren (Wien, Heidelberg) Universitaten. Von diesen Kontakten profitierten in hohem Maae die Bibliotheken der einzelnen Prager Kollegien, die den dort tatigen Gelehrten eine Tatigkeit auf hochstem Niveau ermoglichten. Die hier edierten Bibliothekskataloge vermitteln einen Begriff davon, auf welcher Grundlage sich die Lehrtatigkeit eine Jan Hus – um, nur einen Namen zu nennen – entwickeln konnte.
