English summary: This study deals with the aryanisation of Austrian pharmacies during the NS regime, the restitution of these businesses after 1945 and the fate of Jewish proprietors of Austrian pharmacies persecuted by the Nazis. Beginning with the Pharmacy Act of 1907, the book explains the legal framework and particularities of Austrian pharmacies as well as the status of Jewish pharmacists in the profession in Austria from 1860 until the Anschluss in 1938. The author names the actors involved in aryanisation and their Jewish victims, and reconstructs the procedures of aryanisation and restitution after 1945. He also traces the pathways of the Austrian pharmacists forced to emigrate after the Anschluss and charts the fate of those who could not flee from Nazi persecution and were murdered. German description: Diese Studie behandelt die Arisierungen osterreichischer Apotheken wahrend der NS-Herrschaft, die Ruckstellungen dieser Betriebe nach 1945 und das Schicksal der von der nationalsozialistischen Verfolgung betroffenen judischen EigentumerInnen osterreichischer Apotheken. Beginnend mit dem Apothekengesetz von 1907 werden die rechtlichen Rahmenbedingungen und Besonderheiten des osterreichischen Apothekenwesens erlautert und die Stellung judischer PharmazeutInnen in der Apothekerschaft Osterreichs von 1860 bis zum Anschluss 1938 behandelt. Der Autor benennt die AkteurInnen der Arisierungen und ihre judischen Opfer und rekonstruiert sowohl die Ablaufe der Arisierungen wie auch der nach 1945 gefuhrten Ruckstellungsverfahren. Ebenso zeichnet er die Wege der nach dem Anschluss zur Auswanderung genotigten osterreichischen PharmazeutInnen nach und geht dem endgultigen Los derer nach, die sich nicht durch Emigration der nationalsozialistischen Verfolgung entziehen konnten und ermordet wurden.
