Amarsi e tacere
Uno scritto inedito di Niccolo Cusano
by Pietro Secchi
This volume presents the Italian translation of the only poetic work attributed to Nicholas of Cusa (1401-1464) which was recently found in manuscript form. It is an extremely dense text that shows an intimate, lyrical and melancholic side of a thinker hitherto known mainly for his theoretical depth. Personal events are nevertheless juxtaposed with valuable references to his philosophical production. Two short and incisive introductions by Giovanna Murano and Simonetta Bassi complete the volume
