Brill | Fink, founded in 1962, covers a broad spectrum of cultural studies, including philosophy, art, and media studies. It played a key role in establishing media studies in Germany and edited major works by Johan Huizinga, Susan Taubes, and Friedrich Kittler. In collaboration with the University of Konstanz, it advanced hermeneutics in modern intellectual history. The publisher produces renowned journals and about 160 new titles annually.
