This publication presents the latest results from the Project Regio VI research. It is a study dedicated to the houses of average level at Pompeii during the Samnite period. It consists of three parts: the first is an analysis of the House of Grand Duke Michele, of which the various building phases are analyzed in detail. The second part presents the architectural typologies common in medium level houses, focusing on the analysis of the different types of atrium and the organization of the rear area. The third part studies the decoration of this type of house.

The analysis, which has always taken into account the context of the evidence, took into account the floor and wall coverings, painted ceiling decorations, architectural terracotta and capitals of the entrance portals.
