Dies gilt in besonderem Maae fur den Stadtebau, beschaftigt dieser sich ja nicht nur mit der Analyse, sondern auch mit der Gestaltung und Transformation von Stadt. Heute existiert eine Vielzahl verschiedener stadtmorphologischer Ansatze. Die Autor*innen aus Forschung und Praxis gehen der Frage nach, welche Relevanz die morphologische Betrachtungsweise im Feld zeitgenossischer Stadtlandschaften hat. Dabei verknupfen sie historische Wurzeln sowie aktuelle Ansatze und erlautern das Verhaltnis von Analyse und Entwurf.
