The international Workshop on Exotic Atoms and Future Perspectives was hosted by the Institute for Medium Energy Physics of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. The Workshop was devoted to discussions of recent achievements and future opportunities of this interdisciplinary field of atomic, nuclear and particle physics. Current experiments at the leading facilities as well as the progress in theory were presented. In the Proceedings of this Workshop recent discoveries of fundamental relevance are highlighted and the upcoming new facilities and instrumentations are described.
