The exhibits, mainly icons and fragments of detached wall paintings, attest the economic, intellectual, and artistic prosperity of the region began in the 10th-11th centuries and reached its peak in the 12th, 13th and 14th centuries, which constitute a prosperous period for the artistic workshops in the town. |
