OEuvres completes
Brochures politiques (1814-1815)
by Etienne Pivert de Senancour and edited by Colin Smethurst, assisted by Anthony Loubignac
Senancour published these six political pamphlets between May 1814 and July 1815. In them, he reflected on the future of Europe as a liberal idealist and attempted to sort out the gains of the Revolution. He contributed to the creation of the Napoleonic myth, turning the emperor into a modern Prince who emerged from the Revolution.
