English summary: Various key moments have marked the history of visual perception theories. In the Middle Ages, one of the most interesting figures is notably al-Haytham, a 10th Century polymath and genius whose theory of light and sight, no longer identifying the eye as the source of light but rather as its receiver and reflector, influenced all scientific developments from the 13th Century on.
