Dr. Andrea Züger arbeitet als Kulturwissenschaftlerin in Forschung und Lehre am Institut für Geschichte, Theorie und Ethik der Medizin an der Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen. In ihrer Funktion als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin widmet sie sich den ethischen, sozialen und kulturellen Dimensionen von Medizin und ärztlichem Handeln. Sie promovierte mit einer Arbeit über die Würdezentrierte Therapie. Sie ist zweite Vorsitzende der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Patientenwürde e V.
