The book focuses on Italiote red-figure, overpainted, monochrome, and polychrome pottery samples and reticulated lekythoi unearthed from tombs in the urban and suburban areas of Altamura. These remains are being kept at the National Archaeological Museum of Altamura, and have brought together numerous archaeological discoveries from the entire Alta Murgia region, ranging from prehistory to the Middle Ages.
