This volume, covering the 11th and 12th centuries, is devoted to the West, and there in particular to Ibn Rusd (Averroes) and the Jewish philosophers of Arabic. It is part of the four-part Philosophy in the Islamic World series, which for the first time provides a comprehensive overview of the history of philosophy in the Islamic world.
