University of Tartu Press
University of Tartu Press is the largest academic press in Estonia. It publishes books, book series, textbooks, journals, and digital products from a wide range of academic disciplines. The Press traces its history back to 1632, and focuses on publications in the field of humanities and social sciences, with special attention to linguistics, literary studies, cultural studies and semiotics, history, political studies, philosophy, and theology. However, as it serves the university as a whole, the Press also publishes in other fields of study, such as economics, mathematics, medicine, and natural sciences. Approximately 200 titles are published each year.
