Founded in 2004, Sheffield Phoenix Press is an independent academic publisher dedicated to advancing scholarship in biblical studies. Managed by academics and guided by an academic advisory board, the press publishes high-quality monographs, reference works, journals, and commentary series spanning the Hebrew Bible, New Testament, and related fields. Its distinguished publishing program includes the Hebrew Bible Monographs, New Testament Monographs, Bible in the Modern World, and the ongoing revision of the landmark Dictionary of Classical Hebrew.
