Regions in Flux
The Regions in Flux project focuses on documenting and promoting some of Egypt’s lesser-known archaeological and heritage sites, with particular attention to the Christian and Islamic heritage of Middle Egypt and the Western Desert. Through ongoing documentation, the project highlights important sites that have received limited attention despite their historical and cultural significance.
By making information about these sites more widely available, the project seeks to support researchers, heritage specialists, students, and anyone interested in Egypt’s past. The documentation produced through the project provides valuable resources for future research while encouraging new ways of understanding and engaging with Egypt’s rich and diverse heritage.
