Middle East Documentation Center
MEDOC (The Middle East Documentation Center) is a research unit supporting scholarly work in Middle Eastern Studies, based at The University of Chicago. It is currently undertaking a number of projects to this end. Among these is the publication, since 2002, of the Chicago Studies on the Middle East monograph series on behalf of The Center for Middle Eastern Studies at The University of Chicago. The series publishes works in a variety of disciplines within the humanities and social sciences, on topics focusing on the Middle East from the beginning of the Islamic era until the present.
